Transcript

  • Taneel: I came in to ask you about your report from Du Fu: the Monasteries of Yanta.
  • Cuddow: Yes! It's a lead! Our first record of Skitter's people!
  • Cuddow: It could be our chance to finally complete our mission, go home, and finish the various paintings we were all working on.
  • Taneel: ... Oddly specific.
  • Taneel: ... But what do you know about Yanta? About the Sill?
  • Cuddow: Modern day? Not much. But they loom large in Fillipod pre-histories.
  • Cuddow: They came from the skies, and taught us about art, and language, and internal rhyme schemes in poetry.
  • Taneel: Again specific.
  • Taneel: But were they a... good people? So much of their history seems to have been about conquest and expansion.
  • Cuddow: We don't know why, but they never conquered Tesskil. They swooped in, shared their intense love of art and living with passion... and then off they went.
  • Taneel: Odd.
  • Cuddow: ... THEY WERE LIKE THE DREAMY SUMMER BOYFRIEND YOU ALWAYS WANTED FOR NANCY DREW.
  • Taneel: No one wanted that for Nancy.
  • Cuddow: [whispers] Just me, then?
  • Cuddow:
