The Rogue Spirit is a strong AI created by Ahmis. It is a spirit that is also a Maker, since it can create copies of itself and new spirits[2]. Its creation angered the Colegium, prompting them to cast Ahmis out of both the Colegium and the Continuum of Makers[3]. It later encounters the Vinn[4] after splitting off from Ahmis.
