Conrado Cruz discovers the Rogue Spirit Ship, which has a Ring Drive

Humans make their first alien contact with the Veetans[2]
Feb 27th, 2384-
The Machito, along with two other Starwind 9000 luxury personal yachts, is being repurposed as an Armada military scout ship[3]

Prior to this date, Corps enlistment began at age 15, but there weren't enough engineers, so the age was moved to 13.[4]
