The cousins grew up together on the Lunar Colonies in comfort and wealth. When they were recruited into the Drive Corps, they excelled.[2] However, seeing the poverty, corruption, and stagnation throughout Earth and the Empire, they began to steal from La Familia and the Empire and try to right their wrongs.[3]
At some point, Fernando's father saved their lives in some way.[4] They also became involved with a member of the Rhinn called Genn.
They were involved in helping to free the Outer Colonies, Las Hermanitas, from the Empire's grasp, and starting the development of a Drive Ship fleet for them.[5]
